Many users of the social media platform – Facebook were surprised to see a new ‘reaction’ that would use to express their feeling on posts shared by other users. The Purple Flower has debuted as the new reaction button alongside the sic older reactions.
A purple flower emoticon joins the ‘like’, ‘love’, ‘wow ‘, ‘haha’, ‘sad’ and ‘angry’ reactions buttons for posts. With this new option, you can now be grateful (iOS) or thankful (if you’re using Android or are logged on from a desktop) for posts you see on your feed.
While there’s still no dislike option, this new addition comes as a part of Facebook’s ongoing process to roll out more diverse ways for people to react to posts. The grateful option is the latest in the six already existing reactions for users to express their feelings on a status, picture or video.
